This guy was part of the Reaper Bones 5 Kickstarter. The minipainting Discord server was doing a Reaper paintalong, and this is what I did.
I especially like the turkey vultures perched on top.
Assembly:
Assembly was very easy, only a couple pieces.Mould lines also minimal. Bones Black material is very easy to work with, but also pretty detailed. Good stuff.
Paint:
Primed with Badger Stynlrez primer, brushed on.Miniature painted purley in oils. Mostly Winsor & Newton Winton line, Williamsburg, and Gamblin.
Painted most of it in a couple hours, and then another hour for details and the turkey vultures.
Base:
Custom made with pumice gel and dirt/gravel bits were flocking mixes from Luke's APS.The toxic puddles were made with clear tar gel colored with some Daler & Rowney ink. Once that was dry, built up peaks with Liquitex gloss gel, also colored with inks.
