This is one of three models from the Reaper Learn to Paint Kit, and one of the very first minis I ever painted. I love goblins, orcs, ogres, all those things, so it was great to dive into this one. There was a fair amount of skin surface area, which was perfect to practice green skin tones with. The skin, armor, and weapon details were pretty good. However, the face details were a little muddled. The material is Reaper Bones resin. The figure comes attached to small base.
Primed with watered-down white acrylic paint, brushed on. Miniature painted with acrylics, Reaper Miniatures Master Paint series. Being one of my first painting projects, it is hard to remember exactly how long it took. Probably a few hours at least, with trying layers and highlights. The weapons and metal armor was painted with metallic paint. Washing with Nuln Oil really helped the definition. Sealed with some matt varnish from Reaper Miniatures.
PVA glue with sand, acrylic paint. A couple skulls from Citadel added for some flavor, along with some grass tufts from World War Scenics.
