This is one of three models from the Reaper Learn to Paint Kit, and one of the very first minis I ever painted.
This is a great learning model with the sword, shield, lots of armor, and cloth/leather bits.
The details aren't too fine to be major headaches, but still provide a lot of fun little bits to paint.
The material is Reaper Bones resin. The figure comes attached to small base.

Assembly:

None.

Paint:

Primed with watered-down white acrylic paint, brushed on.
Miniature painted with acrylics, Reaper Miniatures Master Paint series.
Being one of my first painting projects, it is hard to remember exactly how long it took.
Probably a few hours at least, with trying layers and highlights.
The weapons and metal armor was painted with metallic paint.
Washing with Nuln Oil really helped the definition.
Sealed with some matt varnish from Reaper Miniatures.

Base:

Just some PVA glue and basic sand for flocking.
Covered with some acrylic paint.
