This is a fantastic scuplpt from Reaper miniatures, and I think the first Bones Black mini I've worked with. I really like the detail and material that the Black mins are made of.
The detail on this model is super nice. The armor and mace are particularly great to work with.
Really happy with how this turned out. Hopefully another example of the quality that Bones is capable of.
The material is Reaper Bones Black resin. Harder than the regular Bones material, and holds more detail, but still very easy to work with.

Assembly:

None.
Mould lines were easy to remove.

Paint:

Primed with Badger Stynlrez primer, brushed on.
Miniature painted purley in oils. Mostly Winsor & Newton Winton line. The metals were done with Gamblin metallic oil point.
Took a few hours is all. This was the first time using metallic oil paint for large armored areas, and it worked out super well. Oil washes really help pop it out.
Sealed with some matt varnish from Reaper Miniatures.

Base:

Custom made with a base of cork. The ruined temple arch was made with XPS foam.
The base was flocked with bits of moss. The vines were made by gluing on very small mossy bits (cut up clump foilage from Woodland Scenics).
I really like how it turned out.
