This is Reaper's version of the Umberhulk, which are undisputedly some of the coolest monsters every created.
I tied to do a crusteacean sort of paint scheme.
There are a fair amount of details, or large'ish spaces on the carapace for freehand if one was inclined.
The material is Reaper Bones resin. Very easy to work with.

Assembly:

Very simple, as it was a single piece.
Holes were drilled in the feet to help affix it to the base.
Mould lines weren't bad and easy to remove.

Paint:

Primed with Badger Stynlrez primer, brushed on.
Miniature painted purley in oils. Mostly Winsor & Newton Winton line.
Took a couple hours to paint the oils, then a few days to dry.
The small dots were applied with a toothpick.
Sealed with some matt varnish from Reaper Miniatures.

Base:

Custom made, mostly PVA glue and rock/gravel/sand bits piled on.
It being the Underdark, and they burrow, kept it pretty simple.
The base was painted at the same time as the model, splashing on oil paint here and there.
