Anubis Guard

This is (currently) the only metal mini in my Egyptian-themed mass of minis.
Normally, not a huge fan of metal. The weight is nice, but eveything else is a pain.
With this mini, however, it is a single mould of the entire figure, so that drastically decreases the hassle-factor.
The blade came a little bent, but it was easily rectified.

Assembly:

Very simple, as there was almost none, being a single piece.
I did remove the footer bar bit, and drill holes in the feet to be pinned to the base.
Mould lines weren't bad and easy to remove.

Paint:

Primed with Badger Stynlrez primer, brushed on.
Miniature painted purley in oils. Mostly Winsor & Newton Winton line.
Took a couple hours to paint the oils, then a few days to dry.
Sealed with some matt varnish from Reaper Miniatures.

Base:

Custom made with the Egyptian texture roller from Green Stuff World on Scuply clay.
The clay bits were embedded into joint compound.
Base was first covered with Mod Podge + black acrylic paint, then painted in a couple quick acrylic layers and drybrushes.
